elcome to the website of Westminster Presbyterian Church. We are a Protestant Bible-believing Christian church situated in Caswell County, North Carolina. Westminster Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in the United States.
Our beliefs are best summarized by the 1647 Westminster Confession of Faith, Larger , and Shorter Catechism , The Form of Presbyterial Church-Government, The Directory for Public Worship, and The Directory for Family Worship. Westminster Presbyterian holds to the historic position of Presbyterianism, namely, to strict subscription to the original Westminster Standards.
Our worship can be described as simple, reverent, with the centrality of the Word of God. We believe that the Bible, God's holy and infallible word, is the only rule of faith, life and worship. We also believe that Jesus Christ is the only King and Head of the Church, therefore we limit our worship activities to those required by the Bible (i.e. Scripture reading, preaching of the Word, prayer, Biblical praise and the seasonal celebration of the sacraments).
